So many ways to volunteer to help the Chamber and our community! Most only meet a few times a year.

In the most recent meeting of The Leonard Chamber of Commerce, attendees talked about the different committees the Chamber has that members need to volunteer to help with. Below is a list of the committees and what each one does. Anyone interested in serving on one of these committees should contact Elizabeth Christman at email@example.com.
Chamber Banquet Committee: Plans the annual banquet which is held around April. They are responsible for the meal, entertainment, door prizes, etc. They meet 4 or 5 times.
Yard of The Month Committee: Selects a yard of the month winner each month from April through September. They will report to the chamber meetings the winner during those months.
Easter Egg Hunt Committee: Plans the annual Easter Egg Hunt. They will send out flyers, purchase eggs, over see the event. They will only need to meet a few times.
Leonard Picnic Committee: Plans the Leonard Picnic. They meet several times beginning in January. They raise funds for fireworks, book entertainment, breakfast, advertising, etc. They also plan the chili supper that is held in December since it is a fundraiser that pays for the Miss Leonard Pageant scholarship winner. They report at chamber meetings.
Halloween On The Square Committee: Plans Halloween on the Square. They will meet a few times. They coordinate with local businesses to set up and hand out candy. They will also get donations for the bounce houses and all other things related.
Christmas Committee: Selects the theme for the annual Christmas parade. They coordinate with the Picnic committee in regards to the chili supper. They find judges and people to oversee each starting point for the parade. They can do most things through email or only meet once or twice.
Leonard Toy Drive Committee: They are responsible for purchase of toys, distribution of forms to the school. They will oversee donations. They will meet a few times.
Greeter Committee: This committee is responsible for getting goodie bags together to take to the city hall. The goodies bags are given out when a new person signs up for water with the city. The goodie bags contain info on local businesses. They will meet once or twice a year.
Membership Drive Committee: This committee is responsible for getting and keeping membership.
New Officer/Director Search Committee: This committee is responsible for finding the new officers/ directors each year. They will meet once or twice and then recommend to the chamber in November the officers for the next year.
