It’s Time for Christmas Lollipops on the Square

Benefiting the Leonard Toy Drive, helping all Leonard kids in need have a Merry Christmas

It is that time of year again! Christmas is just around the corner.

We will be selling lollipops again this year to be displayed around the Leonard square.  The deadline to order and turn in money for the lollipops is November 22nd.  The cost of the lollipop is $25 (this is for brand new ones as well as displaying yours from last year).

The money raised from the lollipops helps to fund the Leonard Toy Drive.  Please  Brandi at Buchanan Insurance (brandi@becausethingshappen.com) to reserve your lollipop. The payments can be taken to Brandi at Buchanan Insurance or mailed to:

Leonard Chamber of Commerce, PO Box 117, Leonard TX 75452.

Awards will be presented at the Leonard Chamber of Commerce Banquet (tickets on sale now)!

You can download and print the forms below or pick up forms at Leonard Pharmacy and Bear Creek County Store, First United Bank and Buchanan Insurance Agency.

Return the nomination forms to: Buchanan Insurance Agency or mail to Leonard Chamber of Commerce PO Box 117 Leonard, TX. 75452. Again, the deadline is March 18, 2019.

Christmas Parade – Sat. Dec 1

The Leonard Christmas parade is this Saturday, December 1st.

Line-up will be at 3 at the and the parade will begin at 4.

The theme for the parade is Storybook Christmas. Cars, trucks, floats, and other motorized vehicles will meet in the Intermediate school parking lot. Horses and wagons will meet at the Leonard High School back parking lot (near the multi-purpose complex). Walking groups, bicycles, etc will meet and the Methodist church parking lot.

We are in need of some volunteers to help out with the parade this year. If you can help, please contact Lea Ann Thomas at 214-549-1242.

Thanks to everyone who attended the Totally ’80’s-themed Leonard Chamber of Commerce Banquet!

Banquet Tickets on Sale Now! Totally 80’s!

Tickets are $15 each and a table of 8 is $120; they may be purchased at Buchanan Insurance.

We also need donations for door prizes, which can also be dropped off with Buchanan Insurance.

The banquet will be April 7th at 7:00 p.m. The theme is Totally 80s. There will be an award for the Best Decorated Table.

Just a reminder if you would like your business listed on the banquet program, your membership needs dues need to be paid by 04/02/2018.
